We received a new gadget for making prairie points yesterday. We’ll be playing with it this weekend and report back on Monday.

My Day Off
Karen Kimmel came to visit from Brazil and a few of us packed our sewing stuff and played at Pattie’s house this weekend. We had so much fun. I finished my Charisma, worked on my Friendship Braid and I’m feeling rejuvenated!
Quilting on the Blue Ridge Recap
Thank you to the gals who made me laugh this weekend! We had a total of 13 at this past weekend’s Blue Ridge retreat. The Mystery was revealed Friday night. As usual the food was incredible – La’Teah out did herself again. Deanna’s hospitality is amazing, she makes you feel like you are family.
October’s retreat is already full, but we have a waiting list.

Trunk Show
We took the shop on the road – Ruth, Aleck and I went to the Mooresville Centerpiece Quilter’s Guild and did a trunk show for them yesterday. We had fun showing off many of our sample quilts. We have such talent at the shop!
I enjoyed meeting new quilters and recognized many from shows. Thanks, ladies for shopping and making us feel very welcome!

Yeah! We found a dress, now on to shoes and accessories. I love this girly stuff!

My daughter Jessica and I went shopping last night for a formal gown. She is going to the Navy Ball in May. We’ll be out again tonight. Any suggestions as to where to go shopping?
