Using fusible interfacing allows you to have a finished edge with-out having to use a needle turn technique.

Trace your pattern on the flat side of the interfacing, sew it to the right side of the fabric, T cut in the center of the interfacing and turn it right side out. You are now ready to fuse it to your background. Choose your favorite machine stitch or hand stitch using a button hole stitch.

  2. Hi Olivia,

Thank you for your nice comments. Although we appreciate the donations, they just weren’t enough to cover the time and cost of producing the videos. Marc and I are committed to making the membership site an educational source for all viewers. But doing this is very time consuming and prevents us from other income producing jobs. Although I love and am passionate about quilting, sewing and teaching, this is our livelihood.
