Our featured teacher this month is Kim Parker, also known as “The Bag Lady”. Kim will be introducing a new quilted duffel bag to her class list. Come meet her on Sunday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Happy Spring!

I’m getting so excited about our April retreat, Quilting on the Blue Ridge. I’ve picked the project and I’m ready to start. We leave Thursday, April 16th for 4 full days of quilting, food and fun. The quilt pattern is – oh, I can’t tell you that – but if you can’t make it to the retreat and still want to make the quilt, sign up for my Mystery class on April 24th from 10:00am to 3:00pm. You’ll love it!

New Classes

Bamboo and Pinwheels with Corinne will help lessen your stash. Big, Bold and Beautiful with Corinne. Piecing in multiples and quilting possibilities. Do you own paintstiks and don’t know how to use them? Check out Paintstiks Technique with Corinne.

Kim Parker’s Carry All Bag is always a full class, so we keep scheduling more sessions.

We’ve just added Ronna Rosmon to our list of teachers. Ronna will be teaching the Sun Surf Halter, an Amy Butler pattern, and for our little ones, American Girl Clothes.

We’re also on the tail end of Sweet Treasures Block of the Month. A new BOM is planned for July.

Ruth has a fast, fun and easy Mystery Quilt for May. She’ll be doing these once a month.

And back by popular demand is Kami’s Bella Bella class.

It Takes a Village with Nancy Bailey

Marc’s Corner

As you may have noticed if you clicked on any of the links in this email, I’ve redesigned our website. Besides updating the nuts and bolts under the covers, I’ve added a blog page, new search capabilities, new categories, links to our Twitter and Facebook pages, etc. Still to come are a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page, pages highlighting Kay’s machine quilting, our teachers, retreats and videos. I even have plans to create an online shop!

Last, but not least, we’re having an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 5th from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. Find an egg and it may have a special discount!
