Description: These bewitching beauties have feet that move! A Buggy Barn Technique class that uses 3D for a haunting effect.

Beach Cabana is a paper pieced quilt. A great project for those left over scraps. I’ll be teaching Beach Cabanas at the Myrtle Beach Quilt Party in Jan. You can purchase your pattern here.

During Symposium we will be debuting our new line of patterns, Floral Fling! This pattern line consists of 12 beautiful fused appliqué wall quilts. The patterns and kits will be available at the shop and in the vendor area.

Description: Pick out your favorite project from the following pattens: Lacey’s Way, Bundle of Bricks, Much More Than Squares, 5 Yard Line or any of the Overall Quilter patterns.

Calling all kids 8 years and older. Join us for 2010′s Kids Summer Camp. This year Lillian Giles will head the camp. Sign up for 1 session or 2 sessions, projects include a draw string bag, floppy hat, PJ shorts, a quilted frog and a small quilt.

Dates and projects as follows:

• Session One: July 19th through the 22nd. Projects include a draw string bag, Floppy Hat, and PJ shorts. Class will start at 9:00am and end at 12:00pm.
• Session Two: July 26th through the 29th. Projects include a stuffed quilted frog and a small quilt. Class hours are also 9:00am to 12:00pm.

We’ll repeat the sessions in August, dates as follows:

• Session One- August 2nd through the 5th
• Session Two- August 9th through the 12th

Each Session will be $75 plus kits. Basic sewing supplies include the following:
Sewing  Machine in good working order, please bring manual, Glass Head Pins, small scissors, seam ripper, and neutral thread.

Kit fee for Session One is $35, kit includes all fabrics for each project
Kit fee for Session Two is $35, kit includes all fabrics for frog and top of quilt (backing and batting not included).

We do ask that the student know how to operate their sewing Machine. Please make sure the student has had a snack prior to start of class.

Description: Join us for this informative workshop. We will learn to use fusible applique’ with invisible thread to anchor the pieces in place. Corinne will then guide us thought the process of using “thread play” to enhance the effects of the piecing. Tackle this quilt block by block adding your own personal touch.
