We’ve had some issues with the web site over the past couple of days. I thought I had messed something up, but it turned out to be my Internet hosting provider. It appears everything is back to normal. Sorry for the outage!
This year’s exhibit will be held August 30 - September 1, 2008.
Please feel free to download the Quilt Exhibit Entry Form, fill it out and return it to the address included in the form.
Aimee insisted on taking a day off, so we’ll be closed on Mother’s Day (I couldn’t talk her out of it!). She deserves to have a day off every couple of months
. It looks like it’s going to be raining all day on Sunday, so we’ll be catching up on some movies and relaxing!

Congratulations to Kay Giese, our very own long arm quilter! She won the Long Arm Quilting Award given at the Charlotte Quilters’ Guild 2008 Quilt Show.
Happy Spring! This month is packed with all sorts of events.
We have the Charlotte Quilters’ Guild 2008 Quilt Show, the Inspired Artists Workshop and our quarterly rollout of classes.

The Charlotte Quilters’ Guild 2008 Quilt Show, "Zing Goes our Heart Strings", will be held at the Fletcher School in Charlotte on April 11th, 12th and 13th. We’ll have some demos at the booth. Click here for more information.
We have also been invited to be a vendor at a mixed media event in Concord. Inspired Artist Workshop will be at the Embassy Suites on April 10th, 11th and 12th. If you love the mixing of fabrics, paper, beads and yarns you might even want to sign up for a workshop while you’re there.
Our next rollout of classes is on Sunday, April 27th. Meet and greet the teachers. Sign up and receive 20% off all class supplies. Bring your "show and tell" to share with everyone.

Due to so many events, the International Mystery Series will be postponed the next couple of months. Our next class will be held in June and we’ll travel to Mexico.
If you need a class repeated, please let us know. We love to make you happy!
